Bridget Abroad – Irish Coffee

April 17th, 2010

sub zero temps, Irish Coffees are the go. This is inPrague on the old square. More expensive like an European “centre” or piazza. You pay more to sit closer to the middle of the action. But so worth it. You are paying for an experience. Try not to allow a few bucks to get in the way of a memory!

This place provided blankets for you lap! Loved it.Bridget Abroad – Irish Coffee in Prague

Bridget Abroad – Goulash

April 17th, 2010

Goulash… local cuising from Prague. A poor man’s casserole. What am I saying…

All casseroles are an economic, complete way to give a nutritious, meal of meat and vege! Goulash is yummy!

For about $20 AUD or $20 USD (sorry USA – just had to add that he he), you can get a 3 course meal in Prague – soup, goulash and apple strudel etc.. and a BEER!

Don’t be precious. It is like a burger to the yanks, a pie to the Aussies and fish and chips to the Brits

Bridget Abroad – How to do a Scotch Whisky tasting in Switzerland!

April 17th, 2010

You don’t need to be in Scotland to have your own scotch whisky experience.

HOW TO DO :

Always buy a scotch duty free and add to your whisky draw

Bring out said scotches with several tumbler glasses

have a map of Scotland

Provide all scotch samplers with a piece of paper (maybe a photocopies map of scotlant) and one person can be the “bar man” and can serve the nips.

All can comment of taste, texture, colour, odour etc.

Everyone can give the scotch a rating

At the end compile your results to find out the BEST SCOTCH in Switzerland – or whereever you are
